Thank you for putting this out here! There are so many of us that suffer from this in silence. Why wouldn’t we want to have a community to talk with?! I have incontinence now after having children. This biggest time it effects me is when I am playing sports. Does this happen to anyone else? I look forward to future posts…keep them coming!
Hi. I have issues when I cough or sneeze. I feel like so many people have this. Why are we embarrassed to talk about it? I applaud you for putting this post up. I have already learned so much. Thanks, Michelle NYC

A great post! While pregnant, I had to hold my urine sometimes working as an RN, and it was terrible for me! I eventually went on bedrest and was able to work on my Kegal’s. I attribute having very little to no urinary incontinence to doing Kegal’s often
I love this! You are correct! We should be proud of our bodies! I have incontinence too. It happens when I hold it too long, when I go running, and when I laugh or cough too hard. I love this post. It makes me feel better about all of the things that I have been feeling embarrassed about. Thank you for all of your posts! They are great!
I have found some great help in taking Marshmallow Root capsules. I buy them at Whole Foods Market. I take 3 capsules twice a day. It is like night and day for me. I had UI come from out of nowhere after menopause. Please try this herbal non toxic help. Marshmallow Root relaxes the bladder.
This is great information. I have been dealing with this ever since I had my son. I find that it affects me in many things that I do. It is great to see one source that brings so much information. This post is really interesting. I never knew there were so many options for people like me.
Great information. Important issues. You may want to edit this “About” page–”Many” instead of “Manny” and “assist” instead of “assit.” You’re doing great–keep up the good work!
I’ve heard many moms can have this problem. The best way to fight it is to try and be prepared. They kegel exercises recommended are a great idea and also bringing a change of clothes or a sanitary napkin to clean up if it does happen.
Thank you for providing these excersizes and treatments for stress incontinence, As a seller of incontinence products, I know how common this problem is. Usually a simple Poise pad can take care of the problem, but I like the ways you’ve discussed to treat the symptom at the source.

Yes, this is what we’ve believed all along, even a small decrease in weight in an overweight person can make a big difference. I hope there is continued research in this area.
