I am tired. Of what you ask?
I am tired of being ashamed of my body and its functions. As women we are made to feel embarrassed or ashamed of the changes that take place in our bodies. My question is what is there to be embarrassed about?
I am a woman. I am no less beautiful because I have a period every month. It was my first badge of honor for being a woman. Only I, a woman, can have a period!
I am a woman. I am no less desirable because of my stretch marks! Each one shows growth. They serve as a reminder that my amazing body brought life into this world. My stunning body housed another for nine months! Only I, a woman, can do that!
I am a woman. I am no less incredible because my breasts have drooped. I nurtured three beautiful children with my marvelous breasts. They look different because of the love and commitment that I have for my babies. Only I, a woman, can do that!
I am a woman. I am no less accomplished because I pee when I play sports or laugh with friends! It is my reminder or what miraculous things my body has accomplished. It can happen to all of us! It happens because we are women and we are Beautiful!
I am no longer going to be embarrassed about my womanly body! I am not going to be afraid to speak with my girlfriends about my incontinence and stretch marks! I love being a woman and everything that goes along with it!

I love this! You are correct! We should be proud of our bodies! I have incontinence too. It happens when I hold it too long, when I go running, and when I laugh or cough too hard. I love this post. It makes me feel better about all of the things that I have been feeling embarrassed about. Thank you for all of your posts! They are great!
